Research:
My primary research interest is in high-performance and scalable optimization software and algorithms.
In geoinformatics, I am interested in solving large-scale geospatial optimization problems by developing extreme-scale heuristic approaches (e.g. parallel genetic algorithms) that are capable for harnessing massive supercomputing resources on cyber infrastructure.
