Research:

I’m analyzing the genomes of foxes that were experimentally bred to show tame and aggressive behavior towards humans (known as the Russian Farm Fox Experiment) in order to identify genetic regions associated with their anxiety-related and social behaviors.

I’m also analyzing genetic differences between wild and farm foxes in order to identify genomic regions that were under selection in the original fox domestication process 125 years ago.
