Graduate advisor:   Dr. Mike Tissembaum (DELTA, Education) & Dr. Georgios Artopoulos (Science and Technology in Archeology and Cultural Heritage, The Cyprus Institute),

Colter is pursuing dual PhDs in Informatics and in Science and Technology in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage. With a diverse background in architecture, software, and game development, his research interrogates the role of interactive digital tools in cultural heritage studies. Specifically, he examines the ways in which interactive software and games serve dual roles: as platforms for scholarly dissemination and as mechanisms for public participation, facilitated through ethnographic survey. His work aims to expand our understanding of cultural heritage, with a topical focus on 20th-century contributions in architecture, design, and computation.
