Zhenrui is a final year Ph.D. candidate in Cognitive Science & Language Processing with Prof. Wang at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, he graduated with B.S. in Mechatronics and Information Technology and M.S. in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence from Technische Universität München. He has broad research interests in natural language processing, information retrieval and recommender systems. His current focus lies in developing high-performance, efficient and robust large language models (LLMs) and vision-language models (VLMs), with an emphasis on domains such as intelligent agents, conversational systems and personalization.
