I’m interested in the changing nature of human-computer interaction as it relates to artistic and cultural communication. Since the dawn of the computer age humans have changed our behavior to suit the needs of the machines we use; as various technologies reach maturity, a new paradigm wherein ubiquitous computers augment our normal, humanistic methods of interaction with the world around us is emerging. The development of these technologies is inevitable – my interest lies in leveraging them to enhance artistic expression and help guide us toward a society in which our collective culture is enhanced and nourished instead of extracted for capitalistic gain.
