My research integrates AI with probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), an engineering framework originally developed for safety-critical systems such as nuclear power plants, to model health risks. By combining large language models with structured causal reasoning, I build interpretable models that help quantify how factors like social determinants of health and environmental exposures contribute to disease progression. The goal is to create scalable, evidence-grounded tools that support more informed decision-making in biomedical and public health contexts.
