    INFORMATICS PhD FOCUS AREA(s):
  • Design, Technology and Society

My research is at the intersection of on-demand mobility services, security, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on human factors. I am fascinated by how information can be conveyed through multisensory visual, auditory, and haptic channels, which, while individually coherent, converge to create a more comprehensive and synergistic perceptual experience. In particular, I am deeply interested in conversational user interfaces as a powerful and intuitive means of engaging with artificial intelligence systems, enabling more natural, context-aware, and human-centered interaction. Across my work, I prioritize individuals’ physical safety, digital security, and privacy, placing lived experience at the center of design and evaluation, with usability and accessibility as foundational principles.
