MUS 409 Electronic Music Techniques II

Intermediate level study of Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) technology, sound design, digital audio engineering techniques, multi-track digital editing and audio processing in music composition, and the study of compositional, technical, and performance considerations as applied to electroacoustic concert art music.

Undergraduate Credit: 2 hours
Graduate Credit: 2 hours

Prerequisite: MUS 407 or placement by examination.
