Coalescing Currents

Informatics PhD student Daniela Delgado and School of Art + Design Faculty and Informatics Faculty Affiliate, Juan Salamanca unveil Coalescing Currents today at the Siebel Center for Design grand opening. Coalescing Currents is 60 ft wide timeline portraying a mixed-reality network of 50 innovative technologies, methodologies, processes, and knowledge frameworks developed at the University of Illinois.

This large scale piece was designed by Juan Salamanca in collaboration with Graduate and Undergraduate students from The College of Fine and Applied Arts, School of Information Sciences, Informatics Programs, and The Grainger College of Engineering. The project was sponsored by the Siebel Center for Design.
